I prefer a real tree but these past few years have used an artificial one. Which one do you prefer?

The real ones are bad if you have allergies.

I like real trees because I like the smell, but I hate to take them down because all the needles fall off everywhere. Plus you can't keep a real tree as long as you can an artificial tree. I guess you can get those pine smelly things.

I love real trees but I'm like you and have had an artificial for the last few years. Mainly b/c real trees are kind of messy and I have 4 kids ages 5 and under and two large dogs....kids+dog+real tree= a real mess

I prefer real Christmas trees (for the smell of them) but I sometims use artificial ones when I don't spend the Christmas holidays at home and I can't really enjoy a real one.

have a nice day! - have a nice day!
All my life our family put an artificial tree at home to add to the touch of the essence of a real christmas.

Since I am allergic to real trees I really have no choice in the matter. Real trees cause sinus/hayfever to go haywire.

I use an artificial one because of the pets and kids. But when they all get bigger I want a real one! I just love that smell and the way they look.

The smell of pine wafting through the house is hard to beat, but the pine needles you have to clean up are the down side to a real tree. If you are in a hurry an artificial, pre-lit, fiber optic tree is the lazy man's way to go. You can be ready for Christmas in about 20 minutes!

If I didn't have to be the one to mess with it or clean up after it or take it down, I'd prefer a real tree. I absolutley love them. I don't like the mess they make though or the having to water them.
