Everyone sleeps for a few hours everyday?

I work in the IT profession,sleeping everyday of few,everyone sleeps for a few hours everyday?

Hello,deepseafish! Adult humans have the biological need to sleep at least 7/8 hours, sleep is a metabolic regulator and sleep disorders effect metabolism.a person who does not get adequate sleep is prone to develop several system disorders which can cause hypertension ,heart disease,stroke,diabetes,loss of memory,eye disorder and many other.sleeplessness may also effect the immunity system adversely.so you should have adequate sleep every day.thank you.

I guess we all have a built in time clock in our bodies. Most people need at least 6-1/2 hours of sleep, but 8 hours is much better. With me it fluctuates between the two.
