Movie Review...I Am Legend

I watched this movie last night with my husband and oldest daughter. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the movie. I thought it would have more action than it did. It was one of those movies where they hyped it up to be more than it was. Don't get me wrong, I liked it. But it was one of those movies that I would only watch once. Not to mention that I really didn't like the way it ended. Will Smith is a good actor, but I don't think this is one of his better roles. What did you think of the movie?

I loved this movie. I bought the dvd and have watched it twice. This movie is not about action or scaring you. Its a story about that one man and his struggles and the emotional turmoil he goes through losing everything he has. The title explains it all. I am legend. The movie is to show you why he became a legend. There story line was awesome because the infection was plausible and the way the infected people looked and their behavior, like how fast they could move and they also had a leader. I will probably watch it again.

You have a good point. I didn't look at the movie in that manner. I think I was just expecting something different, with more action to it. Thanks!

Yeah, it didn't seem to last long to me either. And as I said in the post above, I really did not like the ending. I can't say that I found any of the movie scary. Thanks!

My husband liked it except for the ending. I haven't seen it yet. But I did hear it was good until the ending from several people. I suppose I will have to bite the bullet and put it on my netflix list.

I have mixed emotion about the ending. There was more action at the end of the movie than any other part of the movie in my opinion, but I hated the way they ended it. I won't spoil it for you.

I thought this was an amazing movie. I agree that the trailers led us to believe that it was more action-filled than it turned out to be, but I didn't mind that. I found that it was a very emotional movie, and that definitely made up for less action. I found myself near tears numerous times because of the raw emotion of the scenario. I thought Will Smith's acting was wonderful in this movie, the mood was just very intense and I didn't find anything to detract from that at all.

I think I was just expecting it to be more of an action packed movie than what it was. I just think they could have done better with the movie. But as I said before, this is just my opinion. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
