Don' see 4bg just 3,15GB od Ram

I have soltek motherboard and Pentium IV 3,0 D and installed XP PRO X64 but windows only sees 3,15GB of RAM? Why?

You have 64bit version of windows installed so it shouldn't be a problem. I personally haven't heard of Soltek as a motherboard manufacturer but perhaps it is a problem with either the board or the chipset on the board is limiting it. Some chipsets are just designed to be loaded with ram. Can you give more details of the board? It could also be the ram, are they all the same? Because these days, most motherboards are capable of running in dual-channel and so certain pairs should at least be the same spec or else you will have problems.

thanks for the replay. I hate to see motherboards specification.. the memory modules are the same.

Maybe some of your RAMs dosen't work or is of the wrong type... Did you buy the 4gb together, and are they the same type?
