How do u judge a person as smart??

They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. But I think appearance does reflect ones character, other than this I think when you talk to them you will get a general idea whether they are smart or not by their response and the topics they talk about.
One more thing, I think ones sense of humor also reflects their character... Would you agree?

I like when the people I speak to know about the things going on around them like politics and current events but
even local things and when I talk to doesn't even know this much it begins to make a bad impression and its like you cant discuss anything with someone if their clueless about day to day issues.

For me, a smart person is someone who knows when, where, what, how, and why to speak. In other words, he's someone who does not blurt out anything without even thinking. Have a good day and Happy myLotting! ;)
