Have you ever had the smallest inkling to go out and try violent attacks towards others when you see some bloody scenes in a violent movie? Some of my male friends tell me that they always have the impulse to try their fists or Chinese Gongfu whenever they see some action movies. Actually, I am not a peoson who consider the violence movie would give rise to increase in social crime, however,I just wonder wether it effects people in a negative way. So, what do you think? or do you have this kind of impulse whenever you see a violent movie?

i once a in a magazine that psychologist did research on kids after they watched violent stuff on tv, and they would re-enact the violent acts during the next day in school. and if people watch violent stuff on the news, soon there are copy-cat people who do the same...just look at what OJ Simpson started...he started the car chase...now there have been millions of car chases on the news and i dont see the importance of that trash..why do we have to watch it...it sometimes ruins our program...it interrupts our shows saying that something important happens, which turns out to be a stupid and lame car chase...i just turn the tv off...

If I have the urge to be violent, it's always because of something going on in my own life, not because of violent movies. And I have a punching bag for those times. I've watched quite a few violent movies, and while they get my blood pumping and get me excited, they don't make me want to go kill anyone. They might make me want to study martial arts or get my body in better shape because I'm impressed with specific feats I saw, but that's about it. Then again, I don't have as much testosterone, so that could be it.
