My son can just look at some things and draw them and I always try to get him to pursue this and he doesn't. So, I have wondered how many other people out there have talents that they don't pursue? I wish I had one.

I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I have always been a pretty talented writer. I stopped for a number of years after having my kids, but am now actively writing and submitting again and have been lucky enough to have a couple of my fiction pieces published.

the latest one I had published is in a Canadian magazine called "Inscribed". You can read the issue online (Vol 3, issue 1) and my story is called "7 Years" www.inscribed.org

I am like you.. i dont have a talent that stands out. . I guess i'm pretty fertile!! lol but that's not much of a talent. *giggles* I wish i was more then average in something. . Like drawing or painting. I can see the image in my head i'd like to draw, but i can't get it to the paper!

Yes, each child is unique. Each has a specific talent. It has to be identified.Pursuing talents requires time and patience and do not necessarily generate income for a living. Most of the world is busy making their wards study and gain lucrative employment.
