my grandpa just passed away

Im dosed with a flu, I feel so bad for my mom, she had just gotten back from the 2 hour drive to visit him and she got word that he passed away. Hubby keeps telling me to get some rest as Im not in any fit state, but its my granpa, and my mom needs me, and my grandma. What to do, I have to get the house ready for company.

I'm sorry for your loss Goatlady.
But first things first, your health comes above all else. You'll gain nothing by straining yourself while ill. If anything you'll just make things worse on yourself. Its your decision and I don't have a full idea of what you are going through... but whatever you choose to do, take care of yourself along the way.
