Should a woman who is 42 even try to date a man 24?

A friend of mine is 42. She has met a man who is only 24!!!!! She does look young and could pass for being in her early 30's. BUT, this man is young enough to be her SON.... I think she should just leave this alone. Opinions???

I think you should support them and help their relationship. Love knows no age. if they don't mind why should you.

I do support her. But I just wonder where it could possibly lead.

I think age has very little to do with love. You may find couples where the two are the same chronologic age but one seems like 20 and the other like 80. Sharing intereste, love and respect are far far more important than age.

there both adults any ways so ya, its not like she try for some one under the age of 18. as far as for me i think its fine. i'm 24 and i wouldnt mind dating an older woman. they know wht they want and get stright to the point, they have alot of experince so u never know wht u can learn. i dont know whts wrong with her dating someone younger. most girls go for older guys but when its the other way around people seem to things its wrong or something.

I guess I am out of touch. But thanks for your point of view. What would your friends and family say?

Yeah i c ur view point, its like what will their family n frendz say, how will the society react . But if they both r in love, nothing to worry, just let them go ahead. Even i have concerns of whether this cud work, because men of that age are young and youth brings temptations. But they think it wud, they shud go ahead n try it....

Well, if he really love and want to be with her, fine let love bloom here. See, there will times when a person find love, which just don't happen everyday and it may be with someone younger than you or someone older. If its two folks single and all, then let the good times roll.
