Isn't someone "commentating" a movie annoying?

You know those annoying people who like repeating every funny bit or making jokes the whole way through but only crackin themselves up. Then they do the whole "watch this bit, watch this bit" when that's all your trying to do anyway. By the end of the movie you know what is going happen because they have been pointing out the clues for the last hour. Lol well is it just me or are they annoying to you too?
