Do You Make Most of Your Money With Refferals?

I see that having a lot of refferals can be very beneficial to you here on mylot. Unfortunatly for me I only have one, who is inactive.
Do you have active refferals? What are your techniques to gaining refferals? Do you make most of your money with refferals or just participating here on mylot?

I have a few referrals but have only made 7 cents from them so far. If anyone has a few good active referrals they are potentially making a nice bit of extra money, but I think of any referral money I get as a small bonus.
I like the fact that at myLot I am earning from my own efforts and input. I don't know how you can ensure you get active referrals, I am always honest and say that people should join myLot for the fun and not to expect to make a lot of money from it.

Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to respond. I think the people who see mylot more as a money making tool than a place to have fun tend to be the most inactive because they see that money is not coming in quick. It seems like most refferals are inactive...oh well I won't stress over finding refferals and just continue what I'm doing on my own.

I hope you get a lot of resposes to this on how to get more referrals...it is so hard to get someone to sign up and then stay active...i have 6 right now, 1 went all the way to 20 points and then called it quits - the others haven't gotten started yet either!!
I am going to keep trying. Who knows? Maybe someday it will pay off :)

I think my wife signed up under you from Associated content, she is Rae. I signed up under her. I can't get any referals because it is likely she will recruit everyone we know that she can get. I am having fun on here though.

I've got over 100 referrals but, as with any 'money making' scheme, very few people actually do much.
Most of my referrals aren't very active. It's a numbers game - introduce lots of referrals and you'll probably get a few good ones.
It's still the best way though to increase myLot earnings.

I only have one refferal that is only active some of the time. Because they're not active all the time, I only make a few cents from them each month, sometimes I barely hit 5 cents or more. So I definitely am not making a lot of money here because of refferals. I've gotten other people to join under me, but only one has managed to stick around for the long haul. So I'm pretty clueless to getting new members to join under me.

I have no referals on here, i have them on all my other sites, i think that if you have a decent amount of referals, then thats the way forwarss.
If you have 4 referals here, if they all reach payout then you get $10 for doing nothing!
25% ref rate on here, its good :)

I have 14 referrals, but only a few have even bothered to come back, and of those, only 2-3 are very active at all.
I'm not complaining, most of them are my friends and if myLot isn't for them, then so be it.
I'm doing pretty well on my own, but obviously since myLot upped the ante so we get 50% from referrals for now, I'm doing even better.
If they decreased it, I'd still be fine. I made payout last month in 12-13 days on my own.
