they sure have! I love Wal-Mart, but this does have me rethinking giving them my money now. Only thing I keep saying is all the stuff I buy from them is cheaper there, and where will I get it cheaper if I stop going to Wal-Mart, but at the same time, this story has me disgusted with Wal-Mart! Such a sad story

Yes they were in their right, because of that clause in the contract. You tell me how is that money benefitting Wal-Mart? Who needs it more the woman or the Big Store! They were morally wrong and if Sam were a live, I don't think that would have ever happened. I do believe he is rolling over in his grave at how his son is running the business. They treat their employees like crap and expect loyalty and that doesn't work! If you want loyal and happy employees, you have to treat them with respect, and they sure did not treat this woman with the respect that she deserved. Her husband had to divorce her so she could get more medical benefits. How is that right? Not right at all in my book SHAME ON WAL-MART!!

My problem with Walmart is the fact that they put themselves up as not just a company but as a moral family. they say they do so much for family and country and charity, yet they do nothing for their own. They may have had they legal right to. ok, but does that mean they had the moral right? Is the money that they took back or is going to take back from this woman truly going to benefit the larger pool in the big picture? Is the money that the lawyers spent suing the woman to get the money back going to help the general Walmart employees? Where are those numbers and justifications? Or are we just lining the Administration costs of the Insurance company who is handling the Health Care of a company who at the best of times works thier employees so that the minimum amount of workers qualify for health care?
