I get alot of emails about applying for government grants.Have anyone out there in mylot land ever applied and got a grant or grants using any of those services.I would believe that with so much money these services claim are available, then why is people spending time clicking for 0.01-0.1 cent on the net.If anyone has been successful in obtaining a grant using one of these services would you please let me know which one you used. Thanks

If you live in the UK and have a solid business idea you can approach the DTI (dept of trade and industry) for grants. Good luck :)

I have not applied, but that is because I did a lot of researching. There are grants, they are 1)very hard to get 2)mostly for research 3)for big corporations to improve 4)for not-for-profit organizations. Also, it it almost impossible without a professional letter and those are costly. But if anyone tells you that they have succeded, please let me know. Thank you.

You would probably have better luck playing the lotto. We bought the book on Grants by Lesko. What a waste of money. Was going to try and get a grant to start our own business and everyone we looked at, we didn't qualify for it. Now if you want. To save yourself some money. They should have a couple of his book at your local library. You could go down there and check it out and see if you qualify for one of their grants. I wish you the best of luck in finding one.
