How do you stop a dog from running off?

Well I'm needing some advice,If you have any.I just got a dog and she has likes to take off,if not tird up,which I know is best,but I have another dog which is very well trained,so I don't have to chain him up.So do you have any advice on training an older dog not to run off?

Your dog is probably bored, or not getting as much exercise as she needs. My dog had the same problem after he healed from a surgery; we didn't walk him because we didn't want him to hurt himself or cause any complications.
Take your dog for walks or play regularly so she can expell that energy. :]
