hate pizza

Do anyone know what a pizza contain? It contains cheese which is the whole fat and a bad cholestrol. The pizza base which is fully of carbohydrates and turns out to be fat on excess. So it is a junk food and hope everybody should start hating such food in the next intelligent era.

Mmmm, I love pizza. I reckon it has all 5 food groups on it! I probably have pizza once every fortnight. And I never buy pizza from chain franchise places like Dominoes and Pizza Hut ... their pizzas are really bad for you. I buy the gourmet pizzas that cost a bit more but I know taste better.

I have to agree with your approach... forgot to mention in my own post that I also hate Pizza Hut (though their bread sticks are pretty good). You're better off enjoying good pizza once every 2 weeks than cheap, unhealthy pizza every day. FAR better off!

I only eat pizza about once a month. I only eat homemade pizza with whole wheat crust and no cheese. I like lots of veggie toppings, garlic, and tomato...so it's actually pretty healthy.

Hi there. Pizza does contain fatty foods, but it doesnt mean to say that we should all hate it. I happen to love pizza, but then the key is to eat it in moderation. Cheer up lad and have a great day...

You are right in your statement about the cheese and crust. HOWEVER- If you eat healthy foods (whole foods- fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc) just 90% of the time you will be about as healthy as you can be. That leaves the option to make unhealthy food choices about 10% of the time...I sometimes choose PIZZA as my unhealthy food choice. Pizza, in and of itself, isn't quite as big of a deal as you are making it out to be.

Well you're taking a rather simplistic view of a popular food. Yes, cheese is fat, but it's also a basic food the human race has survived on for thousands of years. If you don't eat too much of it, it's healthy. Carbohydrates are not in fact fat, but a different way of storing energy. The most refined carbohydrates are sugars, plant sugar being glucose (c6h12o6). Glucose is the most basic form of food, you can't really escape it, but whole-wheat pizza is better for you because the carbohydrates are not "empty", and contain a variety of other nutrients. The main variation with pizza I'd say is in the sauce. If you go to Dominos, which is truly awful in my opinion, you will probably get sauce that is mostly corn syrup. That's very unhealthy, and might actually warrant a little hatred :). So my conclusion would be that pizza is something which is acceptable to eat, it contains basically the same ingredients as most Italian foods. Then again, more than 2 or 3 times a week would definitely be pushing it. You need a variety of foods to be healthy.

ohh..i love pizza. you are the first person i encounter that hates it. anyway...if that's your opinion that's alright. pizza should be eaten in moeration but i still love it. its delicious!!!
