A funny plane story that happened years ago.

I used to have a fear of flying so I would grip my seat at any signs of turbulance or on taking off and landing. When I still had my fear I was flying with my boss on company business. He had fallen asleep and we had hit a few pockets of turbulance. I was clinging very tightly to my seat. The guy next to me must have noticed. As we were getting ready to land he told me he was a pilot. Just making small talk right? Well we started to go down and the guy says oh no. I am like what? He said it is too foggy to land. My hands gripped tighter as I listened. He then said why aren't they putting down the landing gear? Ok now my heart is in my throat. He then said they have to get it down.. something must be wrong. I am on the verge of tears at this point sure I am going to die. My boss still sleeping soundly I smacked his arm. He looked around only to see my face as if I was going to cry. He didn't even have time to find out what was wrong when the plane safely landed. I couldn't even speak until we were in the car. I told him what happened and he laughed. It was then I realized that the guy next to me must have had a really good laugh with his friends that night about the lady next to him on the plane that thought she was going to die. It was so mean. I can laugh about it now but oh my gosh I was so scared. Have you ever done that to someone? What would you do if it happened to you?
