hello everyone...i am a short tempered person..i cant control mah angry ...even sumtimes i'm too aggresive...dats harmful for me...i knw it will harm in mah future.bt still...i try a lot 2 control mah angry bt it doesnt work ... so plz give me sum suggesstion ...hw can i control mah angry...

Well, congratulations!! Cos you've been half way of success of controlling your anger.. Yes, cos you have a will to do it.. It may sound so easy to say and really hard to do.. but all you have to do is, when something bothers you, take a deep breath, hold it for 10 seconds, and slowly exhale it until you finish count to 20.. then take a step back (physically) from anyone near you.. force your self to curve a smile on your lips.. cos just by smiling, you pull your heart to smile too.. then.., restructure your words that are going to spill from your mouth.. Good luck! and remember not to make any decision or even saying a word when your heart is in a fury and your ears are clinging... you'll regret it someday.. :)

I is a million dollar question. you should point out what are the exact things that make you lose the cool. if you can point out, when you are in that position, try to get yourself diverted. even if that appears also, stay calm.

well i usually divert mahself in music so dat i can 4get mah angry...

Hi, Early in the morning you just sit calmly for 15 minutes...let your mind do whatever it wants to do..but you just sit there calmly and do it for 10 days without fail...15 minutes each day for 10 days...This should work wonders for you. All the best.

Controlling anger is really not that easy. Not only will it cause health problems but it would also cause torn relationships with other people. In my case, whenever I really get angry - I just paused and pray. I know it might sound sooo upright and noble but hey it works for me. I just found comfort in knowing that there is someone up there who is with me, who knows the reason of my anger and pain and that He will be the one who will take care of those person who caused me anger and pain. Sort of being your defender huh? lol. You have to try that because in the end you'll realize that you need not explain yourself to other people and thus, you'll find healing from within.

Hi, I have reduced my anger by 80% in last 6 months. Reading 'Bhagvad Gita as it is' helped me a lot. Actually it made me realize that its stupidity to waste one's energy in being angry. It provided answers to all my questions, calmed my heart so much that I just smile on the things which used to make me extremely angry before. Try reading it. If you don't have it you can find it online too.

you know what try thinking all the things or persons that you shud thank about..just give a time for it.. and tell how lucky person you are.. and try to understand everything what happens around you... think possitive! in this way u'll feel calm..

Dear Sweety, Have you ever thought about it? Just sit alone like some one said here quietly and think where you went wrong and why you get angry like that. Just meditate on that. You will get an answer soon. Is it that some one's trying to control you? or are trying to compare you with some one etc. There should be a reason for getting angry isn't it? No one gets upset for nothing. Something should irritate you. Find out what that particular reason is. Then you can correct it or at least will be able to understand what is happening and why it is happening. No one can help you. You have to meditate on this and find out the reason. Ok. All the best
