How much you earn per month, and how much money you spend? Do you save money for a rainy day? Or you just used up all the money earned every month?

Saving is so important. Now that I have my own family, it is really needed to prepare for the rainy days ahead. In our country, we are currently experiencing rice crisis and stuff. It is much more needed here. Most of the time, I save more or less 20 percent of my monthly salary.

I can guess where are you from. I just heard news that the price of rice is raised around thirty-percentage in some countries. In order to avoide such crisis, I think I need to buy some rice in advance. I will go now, buy some rice. Maybe in the coming days, the price of the rice in our country will be raised much. I am going to buy some rice for a rainy day.

I usually spend all or even more than I earn, luckily for me, my wife handles the house money and she just spends the necesarry amount, she always leaves some for emergencies, if it wasn't for this I think I would have been bankrupt a long time ago.

I try to save a little but it seems that something always comes up where you have to touch it, so there goes the savings.

I can only get about $2.5 everyday. Here in my country, that money can only cover the basic need for a normal people, but i will still try to save some money for the future. Usually, I will try to take less rice in a meal, so that I can save about $0.02 for each meal. So in a month I can save about $1 on that. Though you may think I am crazy to save money in that way. I think it is all right. For i am a little fat, so take less meal can help me keep fit, while save a little. In large part of me to save money, is not go shopping often, and buy things only they are on sale, so that I can save about half the price.Usually I only spend $100 per year on my clothes and shoes. Now most of the money I spend is on the books and some tests. I think I sepnd on them now, can help me to make more money in the future. So it is not a wayto waste money , but a way to invest for the future.

For me, there's no sunny and rainy day in my spending. I got paid the same amount every month and I also spend the same amount every month. I make a saving through my salary deducttion. I even have my children saving through my salary deducttion. So I don't need to spinned my head to think about how much I should spend and how much I should save. sunny or rainy is the same thing for me.

Before, my salary is just enough for my everyday expenses - food and transportation. I cant even buy something that I want, nor help paying our monthly rent for the apartment. I always wanted to save but that was far from possible with the money that I earned monthly. But now, as Im working outside our country, I have saved money, more than what I wanted to save when I was in my homecountry. And it feels great knowing that I have saved money from my hardwork.

I try to save money but some times it is not possible. I live in Maryland where our Governor has raised taxes on just about everything. Supposedly we need the money. I don't know what for he has closed prisons, schools, and has not created any jobs in the state. Our Gas and Electric company has gone up over 80 percent in less than a year. So saving is very hard. I used to be able to run my house on about 800 dollars a month now it is about 1200 a month to keep it up and running. I take my tax return and put that in the bank. This makes sure that there is some money in the bank. However, last year we had to buy a new water heater so there went the money. This year we needed a new refrigerator and dishwasher too. This money in the bank did not last long. This year we are trying to put at least $10 a pay check in the bank. I guess we will see. I always say that you need to enjoy your life. We have so there is not much in the bank. I figure why scrimp and save for a rainy day when you can enjoy a bright sunny day now in style. We have a 401k account that has never been touched. This means that when we retire we will have a little extra.

I try to save as much money for a rainy day as I can, but sometimes bills and things just get in the way. Even if it's just a little change here or there, saving makes me feel a lot more secure about the future. My savings account got pretty depleted last month as I've been missing a lot of work with my ongoing illness, but if I didn't have that buffer I don't know what I would have done.

yes i save a little for emergency purposes. lots of my income go to insurance, life plan and hospitalization. i spent less than my money go to this institution. this is for preparation on the future not only on myself but also to the security of my family in general.

No matter what our spending patterns are, I think we should save a little for the rainy days. It is not wise spending all the money you've earned for we do not know up or until when we can work. Buy only the necessary ones and keep the rest. Save some now so that when times comes that you need money, you'll have something to spend.

It's hard to save money if the bills keep coming in, and you have a low income. I have a disability income and raisin a child on my own, so i can't save as much money if i wanted too. I wish a had a moneytree in my garden, but then i have find a garden first. LOL

I used to use the money up every month, however, I am saving now so that my fiance and I can get our own place as well as the little luxuries we wish to have!
