Seeing through other people in your dreams

I have had dreams of things occuring thousands of miles away from where I am. One was of the tornados that hit Mossy Grove, Tennessee in November 2002. I would have just thought this was a plain old dream but as cryptic as the dream was, I remember the details of everything around me where I was standing in the dream, and the next day I found a picture on the CNN site of exactly where I was in my dream. Anyone else dream what other people are seeing?
