Seriously I am out of ideas and I just went completely blank this evening and I have no idea of I can make or even think about making. I wish I could be more creative and make something different tonight. I was hoping my fellow my lotters can help me with that and offer some ideas as to what they will be having tonight and what is in their dinner. Looking forward to all your responses.

Tonight we have chicken..but i think i will do jacket potatoes and maybe a it of sald...I know what you mean about being more inventive...but i tend to stick to the plainer things... When the kids were home it was slightly different..i used to get mad as they all wanted different things!!! But now im not too bothered..i think as long as we are fed..and we eat relatively well..thats ok.. But im sorry i cant help you out recipe ways...are you into rissotto..or stir fry..or curries...???? they are always tasty things..that are good value..dont take tol ong to prepare..and are most enjoyable

Yes I do like things that are easy to prepare and are good value. I am trying to eat well too but it is good when you have something that does not take too much time to prepare and is good for you as well. I can not be bothered sometimes and so I tend too cook more than is enough so that I can have left overs for later.

I really like it when you have something left over from the day before...then you have the challenge of seeing what you can make from it!!!! At least it makes your brain work!

Oh yes there is nothing worse than working on an empty stomach either. I can totally relate to that. I find it more easier to have a little something before I get too hungry because that is why sometimes I can not come up anything for dinner because I am too hungry to think straight.

Fried rice sounds nice, yes I am pretty good with rice and I guess I could add some meat and some vegetables to that. Pizza is quite good but I usually just order that in because there is this place close by to us that has some really nice pizza and we love it but we try to limit that to once a week as I like to eat home cooked meals as well.
