Have you been successful in any field?

Tonight,there will be an event at the Performing Arts Center in the city where I live, to present to the press a big jazz festival that will debut in November. I wrote the script for the video that will showcase the festival. They will screen the video at the event and then it will be up on the Performing Arts Center's website. I have to say, that makes me feel successful as a writer. Ok, I'm patting myself on the back, but you asked:-) I wish you a great day!

What is success? Is it only making a lot money and wasting it on personal toys? After you have everything you want, do you have a lot of close friends that enjoy your company and visa versa. Which is more important after age sets in? We never accumulated a fortune but we own our home (no mortgage took 20 years to pay for it) we have 3 wonderful sons and daughter in laws. We have loving grandchildren and two great grandchildren. I married the queen at school celebration and we've had 56 years of happy marriage in August. I spent 6 years in the USAF and enjoyed it as a crew member. We have been truly blessed. I am now battling colon cancer and in my 6th year of chemo treatments, but still have fun with my friends and even get to play golf sometimes with my sons. It's a wonderful live if you don't get bogged down in the corporate world trying to climb the ladder. Just my thoughts. Regards and much success to all, Rob

In my studies, yes, I have finished it and enjoy mu college life for I know I've helped also in our community in my little way as part and active member of any organizations!

I have been lucky to have been successful in my studies. I aced things. I flew through highschool as well as university. When I left work 2 years ago I was very successful in my career. But now since being off for 2 years I think I am going to have to change my career as I probably won't be able to go back to it due to my injury. I am looking at new options right now.
