i think i made a good choice about my childrens name. where ever we go relatives never forget their names even the ones we seldom see once they see me they will say or is this justice? lol. i think you need to think of a unique name too when you are planning to have a child. goodluck

I'll name my next child after the Saints, like Maria or Peter. But they'll have two names, to avoid problems with the NBI later. In earlier times, parents name their children after their patron saints. My grandfather is named "Jose" from St. Joseph; my grandmother, "Trinidad" from the Holy Trinity. They even have this calendar where for each day of the year, a name of a saint is written. I think it is to mark the feast day of the saint. According to my grandmother, many use the calendar when selecting names for their children. If the child was born on say May 1, and it is the feast day of say St. Augustine, then the child would be named Augusto or Justine.

Oh yeah. people here in the philippines are very religious that is why they put maria or peter as their first names for their children..

Well, I was never able to have any full term, and had 3 miscarriages. One of the names I always wanted for a boy was Michael Dwayne. If I would had had a girl, I always wanted to name her Janelle Dawn.

Hi..Eversince I like my children to have compound or multiple names. If Im going to have a baby boy I will name him Joshua Kenneth and for a baby girl its Trisha Sophia Angeline. If Im gonna have another girl then her name would be Jasmine Bernadette.
