I really did not understand and to be frank still do not understand the sanctions that the Castro policies placed on his own poeple. I just saw the news on TV showing many many Cubans flocking stores which for the first time are allowed to legally sell items such as refridgerators, cell phones, rice cookers, dvd players. Let me just say that according to the reporter Castro had forbidden the use of electrical items in Cuba. Freedom is really a gift that we ought to cherish and that no one person or government should try to take away from a poeple. The report also said that for the first time Cubans are allowed to enjoy the beaches and hotels in their country just like the tourist do. Can you believe that?
