There is no fixed way in doing things... If you want to make a successful site, it has to look appealing and not boring and it has to be updated regularly with good quality content. If you can think of ways to make yours stand out from others, to offer something that others do not, then yours will be a successful blog...

If you wat to have a successful Blog, then you need to have good posts, well written and informative about a subject that you are interested in. When I first started my blog, I did it to promote properties that I was selling in France and then developed it further into whats it like to live hein France. As time has gone on and my job and focus has changed, although I am still based in France so still have in mainly based on France and the French way of life.
