Circle of Life

You're at the beach and you see turtles hatching out of the eggs by the shoreline. They are trying to make it to the water. You also see seagulls flying above, diving down to grab the baby turtles to haul them off for food. What would you do? Would you do something to try to save the turtles or do nothing? If you do nothing, why not? I'm interested in hearing your opinions on this as I've been asked this question before years and years ago.

Now Dear sis..I think you are doing something funny too LOL...whatever made you think of turtles and seagulls?? Did you have a dream about the kids??
ok serious now..of course i'd scare the seagulls off as much as i could to save the turtles..with my luck they would probably poop on my head LOL.

I know that I shouldn't do anything, because my interference is messing with nature, but I don't think I could just sit there, I would have to try and save all of them. I can't stand watching animal cruelty.
