My husband's friend is getting married in late May. My husband is standing as an usher in the wedding for his friend and so he will be wearing a black tux, I would assume, his clothing will be provided. I however, am just goin with my husband, I do not have a role in the wedding beyond being a guest. I need to get a new dress and I don't really know what I am looking for. I know that you should never wear white to a wedding, but are there any other taboo colors? How fancy a dress should I wear? Should I dress really fancy so I match my husband in his tuxedo, or should I wear a less formal dress? Someone give me some advice please. As I said, the wedding is in late May so it's a Spring wedding, I don't know if that affects what color I should wear or not.

For it being a spring wedding I would go with something spring. A cute spring dress. Maybe a purple, blue, green something like that. Without even knowing you it's kind of hard to say hey wear that. I would need body type etc. I would dress a little more formal as your husband would be in a tux. You could go with a long, short, midium length. But if you get back to me and help me out on what you look like I can help you out alot more than just looking at words that really don't tell me too much. I am positive I could come up with a few suggestions for you as well let me know what is the price limit. Thanks.

I don't consider myself a big designer at all. My grandmother has taught me over the years to make my own cloths. Right now I am working on my sister in laws wedding dress and it is coming along nicely.

Well my price range is susually that I shop second hand, so cheap, I just go to the store several times before the event I need the clothing for. I ussually wear medium length. I am about 105lbs and 5 feet tall. I have brown hair to about my arm pit. I don't have big enough boobs to hold up a strapless dress.

When you are looking at the dresses keep in mind that you will want something with a thicker strap if you don't like spahetti or no straps at all. Even if you don't have the boobs there to hold it. The thicker straps will do just fine for you. Keep in mind also I know the simple details and don't know your actual looks as well. I will throw in some links for you so you can take a look and I am sure you can find something like that in the stores you shop at. The color go with a color that you like but a spring color. Something that looks good on you is the best way to choose the dress for the occassion. http://www.fashion-era.com/images/2007_trend_spring/dresses/35349phase8coralsroses.jpg http://15dollarstore.com/p/la-belle-stretch-floral-surplice-dress/1470712762 http://15dollarstore.com/p/hotkiss-floral-embroidered-surplice-dress/0976218632 http://15dollarstore.com/p/trinity-cotton-peasant-sundress/0671029546 If you don't like these dresses let me know and I am sure I can find you other styles to look for. Do you like putting your hair up? If you don't we kind find something to do with your hair as well. If you want it up would you be doing it yourself or would you be getting it down? Let me know.
