Wow this looks great on you

don't you just hate it when you walk into a clothing store and try something on, then the sales lady tells you "WOW" it looks really good on you when you know that it looks really bad. No matter what you say she tells you it is you, you would be wrong not to buy it and to convince you more she gets another sales lady and says look doesn't this look great on her, the other sales lady then says it is perfect for you. They would say anything to sell don't youjust hate that.
Why can't they be honest and just help you find something that does look good and sell it to you?

I think that is sales people would take the time to look for clothes that would be better suited for their customers instead of just instantly saying that looks great on you, then they'd sell alot more.
People shouldn't just look at someone and automatically say "oh that shade of yellow and puke green looks absolutley darling on you, buy it!" they rather should say "I think I have something that would go with that", and then try to find something that would look better or would cover it so that it looks more appealing!

Money is the root of all evil, a sales person would say any thing to get you to buy something wether it looks good or not.

That's definitely annoying. We all know they are trying to make a sale. There's a slim chance that they actually have no sense of style, and might actually like the outfit.
I usually avoid getting help from associates. And even if 10 people told me that it looked good, and I didn't like it, I still wouldn't buy it.
Honesty runs short when you're trying to sell something for some people.

LOL it use to bother me when sales ppl would do that whole desperate pitch thing..Now, if I personally dont like the way something looks but they try to pitch me I laugh and say somethign like "well thanks but..I don't like it"

They can't be honest or how will they make money, seeing that most sales persons work on commission. Thank goodness i'm the sort of person, if i dont like the look of something or if i'm not comfortable in it i wont buy it.

see I can understand where you're coming from but the thing is if they are honest with you most times they wind up selling you more then what you went for. I would rather sell a blouse for ten dollars then wind up chasing the customer away without selling anything because of my dishonesty. Also you seem to know your mind and know exactly what you want but alot of woman aren't as confident as you and I and would buy anything they you would say look good on them even if it didn't

yep, it is really annoying. When I came across such occasion, I knew I shouldn't just try on and listen to the sales lady's comments without a word. I responsed to her and said "really?! I don't think so. I will try something else." and then went away coz I really didn't like that clothing.

it's business,i c most of sales people will say okay for their commodities(i never one sales person told people his or her goods were bad).we just always reminds us that keep our own eyes and trust our own vision about the goods we wanna buy,far away from the mess words
