Does your family plan things or do you play life by ear?

Friday night, I was home from work for about an hour, talked to my hubby... how was your day.. blah blah blah... how was yours.. blah blah you know.. the usual. Then I went to a Jewelry party. I was there for 20 minutes, then he calls me and informs me we are going to Busch Gardens the next day (2 hour drive from here) I get done at the party, come home and buy the 2 year season passes. We got up at 5am yesterday and drove the 2 hours, stayed all day had a blast and came home. We bought the passes that include ALL Busch parks throughout the US. We live 30 minutes away from Orlando, so whenever we are bored on a weekend. we can just get in the car and go to Sea World.. hit the coaster.. and come home. We also have passes to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure so we can do the same Do you plan these types of outings (or anything else for that matter) more than 10 hours ahead of time... or are you spontaneous? We NEVER plan anything. My husband is on the road a lot.. so it makes it kind of hard.

We never plan anything because soon as we do something happens. We just get up and say okay lets go do this. It always works out and probably better than if we had planned it. I want who lives one day at a time. My kids always ask can we go do ? Friday, and I always say lets get through today.

I know what you mean. When my kids ask me, what are we doing on Saturday, my reply is much like yours... "I don't know, today is Sunday"

During the week our plans are pretty much set due to work but our weekends we just play be ear. And that to us is much more fun than having everthing planned out. Being spontaneous keeps you on your toes and adds a bit of excitement to your life. What we do depends on the weather, my daughter's mood (she is 3), and how far we want to travel.

I completely agree. It is a blast to be spontaneous.. it just adds to the excitement of whatever you are doing. We sometimes go with another family. The mom is my best friend, but she drives me crazy, once we get there, she has to plan the order of the rides, the shows.. etc. We drive her crazy because we ignore her.. and do whatever we want, whenever we want. We still are able to hit everything we want to hit, without planning out our every step. I think she is finally beginning to understand this. It's only taken her 5 years or so

We do not plan much at all! We do not do anything either!

We tend to have to plan everything we do because we never have money spare to just do anything on the spur of the moment! It is really hard because there are some days when I just feel like going out somewhere for a couple of hours but often as not we just do not have the money. It sounds like you had a really good time though. I have never been to a jewellery party before, are they good?

Hi Gemini once we have the passes (Busch has an EZ pay Plan so they take monthly payments out of your account every month).. We will usually have the $50 buck it will take for the 4 of us to make it through the day at a close by park. The Jewelry parties are like Pampered Chef, Partylite parties.. etc There are 2 that I know f Lia Sophia (its crap stay away from it) and Premier Designs) Premier Designs http://www.premierdesigns.com/ is better quality than Lia Sophia. The parties can be fun... depending on the people and the person doing the show. I work with a crazy bunch of women, so we ALWAYS have fun
