tether ball

I was watching a commercial about some new toy that they have, (don't remember the name of it) but anyway it made me think about tether ball. When we were in school we had like 3 or 4 tether balls on the playground. I asked my kids if they had one at their school and they didn't. do you guys remember tether ball?? did you play it??

Either I don't remember or I don't know what it is :) I have no idea what a tether ball is :)

tether ball - playing tether ball
its a pole with a ball attached to a string. you and an opponent hits it back and forth and the first one to get it wrapped around the pole wins. heres a pic of what it looks like.
