Do You Think GH S.O.R.A.S's The Kids 2 Much (Spoilers)

S.O.R.A.S. Soap opera rapid aging syndrome. Every soap sdoes it, but do you think GH does it too much? Too often? Taking ages right of context. The did it most noticibly with Maxie/Georgie/Lulu. There was at leat 6 yrats between Maxie and Georgie and Georgie was born waaaaay before Lulu in real time. Now they have done it to Spencer. One day Nik is asking Liz to help him plan his 2nd birthday party and not even a week later, we see him and he looks older than Cameron...Now we here Kristina and Molly and Morgan will be sent a way (summer camp or something) for a couple of months. Expect all 3 to return as teenagers. Wow! What do you think of this? They kept Lulu 8 yrs old for about 8 yrars, soras her overnight, and now the younger set will be teens very shortly. They said the other day that Cam is 4 now and Jake will celebrate his first birthday soon. Nothing has been mentioned about making them older. I guess maybe they will stay young until AFTER the Liason wedding and their will be plenty of anyst before then....So what do you think of the sudden age increases here???

I understand why they do it, I mean, it'd take 18 years for adult age for them to do something with the character, but at the same time, I think they do it a bit to fast, even for SORAS. The ages you mention above are so true. I didn't even notice LuLu in high school! And I did notice Spencer that one day - looked about 4! Last I saw him after Emily was killed he was still an infant - okay maybe 1 year old. It is just so noticable that it kind of kills the whole legacy of the show until we get "used" tot he character as is. I expect that when they bring Michael back, he'll be early 20's and demand to take over the "business" from Sonny and if not, he'll just start his own!
The funny part of it all is that the parents DON'T age - so here's this young parent of a fully grown adult "child" - they just look so close to the same age it is hard to not think of it as weird!
And maybe you give to much credit - maybe Jake will be the ring bearer at the wedding!!!! LOL!!!

Liasonfan - you are me - boy talk about both sides of the fence! LOL!! Our thinking is total opposite! How funny! Makes it kind of fun to "predict". I was saying Jake would be ring bearer because they are supposedly going to marry this summer and they'll just make Jake grow up that fast! You were saying he could be ring bearer as it will take them so long to get them two married, that Jake will be older by then!! I am bored with those two, but at least I get some humor out of it all! Now there is something to watch for!! Jake - his on screen growth chart!

Man, how time flies! I just get used to one age (actor) and then they change them. I still remember Lulu as little. I guess they are planning something in the storyline? Jeez!
