What do you prefer YM, Skype, MSN, IMRC or Google Talk?

What do you prefer in chatting, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, MSN, IMRC or Google talk? what's the difference of each to one another?

I prefer using AIM, MSN, and Yahoo Messenger. Heck, I haven't even used the other chat services you mentioned. I've also used mIRC quite often. According to its description, mIRC is supposedly "the most popular shareware IRC chat client for Windows."

oh, i stand corrected with my post about IMRC... it should be mIRC as what you responded to my discussion... actually mIRC is the first chat server that i heard. but i never really enjoyed using it. anyway thanks for the reply.

i don't exactly know the different services they offered but in my case, ia m very comfortable using Skype since it is very clear and no interruption! I do know if only my connection is bad, but every time I will use my cam and mic in my YM..It will always kick me off!

I used Skype ones only. Mt friend told me that its easier to send large files from Skype. if ever i add you on my YM do you think we can chat even if you are using your skype? coz i can chat with people who are using MSN. by the way im using YM.

well i prefer using msn,yahoo and gtalk sometimes. there is not much difference..but i think skype is best for voice chat :)

I only use Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger. There's no difference actually. You just use which one you prefer. Now YM can chat with MSN users and vice versa and that makes choosing between the 2 just a matter of your preference.

i had been using YM for personal communications since i started chatting. i used skype for official communications here in the office. i don't see any difference with the 2 applications. they both have pc to pc calls and video calls, conference, send file, and a lot more...

i have been using all the four YM,MSN,GTALK and skype but not IMRC.Of all i prefer skype because of its flexibility.i have been experiencing some problems with the yahoo messenger.
