why do people smoke

For myself I smoke because I enjoy it. I find it relaxing and when my nerves are shot it helps to keep me sane. I never thought of it as "cool" to do. Just something I enjoy doing just like I enjoy drinking a coke or reading a book or watching tv. I have no desire to quit smoking however when I couldn't smoke due to being in the hospital I didn't have a problem not smoking. I didn't like the fact that they made patients who smoked go out of the hospital and across the street to smoke but I didn't feel like I had to go do that. So I think if I wanted to quit it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

yes it is a bad habit and people know it very well, and yes it is very difficult to break. but i did it.. i was a chain smoker and i left it forever, now i am free form this habit, because it is not impossible. yes youngsters think that it is a style, fashion. and slowly slowly it becomes a habit. and you will suppose the future...............
