I suppose the discovery channel for the simple fact that they have more programs and ones that i watch on a regular basis, Mythbusters for example. Awsome show and I love how they will go all out to see if the myth is even possible with superhuman abilities. The viewer participation is also one of the nice things. History Channel also has some nice shows Modern Marvels for ex. But they don't have any shows that I will actually schedule time to watch. so definitley Discovery Channel

i personally prefer watching discover channel to history channel why becuase i'm a person who believes and live in the present so,knowing whts happening rite now arround is more important to me in knowing rather than knowing wht had happend in the past.i don't thing it will fetch anyone anything by knowing what was happend in the past very long back.in short,i can say its waste of time.

Discovery channel by far!! dont forget deadliest catch! mythbusters has sorta jumped the shark for me, but deadliest catch is making up for it! i was watching the first season recap and a boat went down. my girl certainly appreciates her crab more now and is willing to pay for it, since she sees how bad it is!

Discovery Channel for me because I watch it more but will sometimes take a look at the History channel. I can remember what Discovery was like before they had these shows and it was about learning. While I do watch these shows, I use to wonder how they fit on this channel but not any more because I am use to them. I watch the ones you listed except I have not seen Junkyard Wars. I also enjoyed Monster House and It Takes a Thief.

I prefer Discovery channel, I usually spend whole time watching their shows if I am not watching any DVD's or my favorite series.

Man that is a tough choice! I myself am a gadget geek and always psyched to see new technology and how things are done. So I'll reluctantly give my nod to Discovery. But by the same token we can't progress forward so well if we don't remember where we've been or come from, so knowing our history is very important in my mind as well.
