Hot Lunches

My daughter came home with a hot lunch form last week. She is in kindergarten and the first in school. Do you get hot lunches for your kids? We got it for her. I remembered not getting the hot lunch when I was school. The odd time I was allowed to get it and I remember feeling sad and left out. I didn't want my daughter to feel like that. So how about it, do you get hot lunches for your kids? Why?

My son has the option of bringing his lunch or eating hot lunch. Since the quality of lunch at his school isn't that great he will only eat on pizza day. The pizza is brought in by Papa Johns, so it isn't even school food.

I do not get my kids hot lunch as I just cant afford it right now. My kids do miss it sometimes but I will throw a candy in the cold lunch to make them happy. And they love when I make cookies for them too as they dont get mommys cookies with hot lunch.

My daughter is in kindergarden and I always let her eat at school which is a hot lunch.Now though she said a few of her friends are taking their lunches from home so now she wants me topack her lunch.The choice is up to her.Right now though it has always been hot lunches.
