Pirates of the Carribean, money making movie or making money movie???

The first movie was not bad, but the second and the third was the worst. I heard that there wasn't any script when they make the two sequel of the movie. I'd say the first movie is the money making movie, while the second and the third are making money movie. I think the main reason why the sequels of the movie was such a success, it's because of the fame of the first movie, don't you think???
