Do you use DayCare for your child?

Do you put your child into a day care? How much do you end up paying weekly with it? And what shift do you put them in there for? How old are they?

No, I do not put my child in day care. He is 3 1/2 and I have been home with him since he was born. I am so grateful to get to be with him during this time of his life. He goes 3 days a week for 2 1/2 hrs to a preschool program, which has been great for socialization skills, and establishing a routine/schedule, etc. We pay $245/ month for that. He also goes a few times a week to work with a speech pathologist to help him with some speech delays he is having. We pay nothing for that. It is a free service offered through our school district.

no, i am fortunate that my kids are older and in school (they are 11 and 14) but i do know some people that pay almost a thousand dollars a week for day care! i mean is it really worth it to work outside of your house if you are paying that much?
