Would you have a caesarean by choice? a friend of mine is about to have her second baby by caesarean, all through choice. I have told her that woman who choose to do this are afraid of naturel birth's and it has been proven that 43% of them are. I had mine all naturel and I wouldnt have changed that fact would you?

I've had one ceasarean (baby was feet first) and four the natural way. I have to say, I would choose natural every time. Mainly because the healing time from a ceasarean is soooo much longer. Seriously. It took me like 3 weeks to heal enough where I could function normally after the c-section. Where I was up and feeling decent almost immediately after the natural births.

I totally agree with you! Cesarean it must to remain an emergency modality of birth, natural birth is the best way to birth because is natural, it is logic. :) Women who believe that giving birth by cesarean is so easy, they are wrong. I birth natural but i know many mothers who birth by cesarean (because they have not choose: the baby was not with the head down or another complications) and they suffered a lot after the surgical interventions. After natural birth the mom is recover very quickly (some hours after birth) but after a cesarean she will suffer all her life because an incision remain an incision. Besides, she will can not to have care of her baby because the operation will hurt her. I hope that women to appeal to cesarean only if the doctors recommend this.
