how to boost my earning with adsense,widgetbucks...

I have enrolled in this adsense and widgetbucks programs which pay when the visitor just clicks on the ads...but still its not working for me...i put it on some traffic exchanges but that too is of no use....as i am getting only impressions not clicks.... Are there any tips to use ...in these kinda programs???
