I've Been Going Through Some Old Recipes Along With New Ones And Wondered If The Two Words Mean The Same In The Cooking World?

I haven't heard Handmade used in cooking. Handmade is for craft items or things like sewing clothes and such. Homemade is for food. Just what my experience says... things do change!

I think they can mean the same thing. I tend to use the term "hand made" more for things like decorative items on a cake, or items that would normally be store bought in the recipe- like a home cooked pasta salad made with hand made pasta.
