I need to know what a person should do that knows somebody is threatening other people and animals? Should I get myself at all involved? I called the police and asked what to do about a person that I overheard threatening another resident of the abuser's home. They said that I would have to testify. I thought as much since I know a little about that line of work. But, if I get involved, this abuser has a long history of attacking previous neighbors that apparently have also filed reports. They went through a nightmare and the creep got away with it. Please advise.

person sholud do that know somebody,because human can life alone and have limit capabality and so do animals

If things are as bad as you say, you should go to the police......but are there other neighbors who would be willing to go with you or to sign a support sheet that he needs help? The more people you get involved, the better off your case will be and then he can't just pinpoint you for being the one turning him in
