Did you know that by responding for the first time to a new discussion :

Did you know that the first time you respond to someone else's topic you get one more point added to you name? It's important therefore to get involved in many discussions, not just creating your own. You get one point if someone reponds to your initial topic and you also get one point the first time your respond to someone else's new topic. Share in the points

I dont think thats the case...you get only one point irrespective of whether its first or latest....and yes this is there that u get 1 point for the first time you get a response to your post but after that it doesnt matter how many responses you have added to your discussion you dont even get a single point after that....i think i am right if not please rectify ?? at least thats what i have experienced....

I think the fact that you respond to every response..helps you in your pay though..I think my cash box prooves this. I have noticed though that the first time I post a response in someone else's topic and before I submit tags the number goes up..1 point.+

I try to answer the discussions with no replies as well because it is quicker than reading through everyone's comments before I post.

i have been on here for two months and from day one i have been responding to topic that had no responses. and i dont notice any difference from before or now. my opinion dont quote me i think my lot pays whatever they want to whomever they choose to .if you notice no ones pay rate is the same.some be on here for hours and they make little. when some be on here for a couple of hours and claims they made 4dollars in one day so no matter what we do to contribute. mylot pays what they want.

You are right you probably already knew this but there probably lots of folks like me who are too sure of the different ways to add a point or two to the number by their name. Thanks for your comment anyway and a plus to you for taking the time to coment:)+

Yea i've noticed that i think my 2nd day on here. If you respond to a topic you get a point you respond to another response in the topic you get one more point. If respond a 3rd time to that topic you get no points. If you respond to your own discussion you get no points. You do get your topic back at the top of the list though for more people to see which equals more responses for you.

I agree..I have come to all those conclusions but not as fast as you..I come to understands much more slowly but my memory is very sharp..and have a pretty high IQ for my slowness in computer functioning;)+

I think you can get it one time ..and it's the first time you respond to the other persons discussion..that is to say ..say you responded to this topic..you got a point..if you respond again in the same topic..you dont get a point.... Is this right? Does anyone know?

This is good to know . . . I've found exact information on what you get credited for, and how much, to be sparse thus far. Of course, by keeping a lvel of mystery to it, I supposed it makes it harder to abuse the system, eh?
• United States
4 Nov 06
I dont seem to understand what you mean by abusing the system..I don't think the majority of people here are like that..I certainly only try to start topics that will be helpful in some way to others..Please explain yourself a little better..thanks;)+

Most systems, as purely-intended as they may be, if money is involved you always have those trying to swindle an extra buck. For example, the message from mylot that mention deleting discussions that only asked things like "How old are you?" etc . . . Saw a number of those kinds of discussions when I was on here the other night. If no one knows precisely how the system credits people, it makes it harder for people to find a way to manipulate it to their advantage.

I realise that, but it also means that you need to be tied to your computer almost 24/7 to make any kind of serious money on here. I'm sure some people have the opportunity to do that but some of us have real lives and cannot. I will keep coming but my contributions will be minor, but I'm grateful for the small amounts of money I receive nonetheless.

I have a real life..and did you ever notice that the ones who get the most work done are those who are already doing lots already.. Let me tell you ..I start off my day with Jesus..Attend Mass and then I work ..from 9:30 until about 6:00 pm for my daytime job..then I pray again ..then of course somewhere in there I eat.. I get on mylot a couple hours in evening and maybe an hour in morning.. On Saturdays I clean the church and then I run errands for people without vehicles.. Sunday is Church day and then the cycle begins again .. Real or not ..my life is filled with real people and I would like to think that those who come here are real too..I hope I am not talking to robots;)+

That you say "helping others too" means you do as well? Great going and thanks for your final comment..good luck to you in all you do..and remember that mylot is more like a meeting place of cultures..sure they put in an incentive..but there more here than what money can buy;)+

You sure sound like you live a full and happy life. Nice to see someone helping others too. Take care now ... bye bye
