in my country (Indonesia), there are some famous urban legends, or maybe ghost..there's a potato ghost (they said you can smell potato before it show it self), and beheaded priest (priest who carry his own head with a black dog), there's also some believe that children must not play outside after 6 pm, because it's bad luck and the ghost will kidnaped u, how about you friend? what is your famous urban legends/ghost in your area?
