You decided to get married but the problem is, your honey would first want you to change religion to hers. You are a devout member of your sect and that's gonna be a problem. What's in your mind?

i dont think that our loved one has to ask to to choose between him and your religion. he/she should accept you the way you are and you with your religion also yor should also give him the freedom to choose his religion moreover every religion has the same base ie love and forgiveness..if he/she had asked you to choose , i think you should choose hi\her(only if you really love her and cant live without her)..you have then sacrifice all ur religious practices but you could still pray to ur god secretly..may be its wrong to haide this truth frm hr but its difficult to forget ur god

My answer is yes. If i had to choose betwen love to my spouse or love to God, of course i would choose love to God, in this case means i will stay with my religion. Because, for me a religion was something i believed. If i am not sure of my faith, if i am not believe my own then who will?

For me it's very important that each of the couple understands the term religious freedom. There might be some people who would require their future partner to be in the same church. But this thing should have been discussed during the early period of courtship or dating. My religion is important for me as I grew up in a conservation Christian family. However, my future husband does not belong to the same church. But one good thing is that he is very open and he allows me to go to my church and observe its doctrines. Now it's up to me if I will be strong and hold fast on what I believe or I will get swayed. But I hope and pray to God that He will carry me through and guide every step I take.
