buying makeup

Ladies,what do you like to get when you buy makeup?Do you buy drugstore brands or prefer high end makeup or does your collection have both?Do you buy one brand in paticular?Do you look for certain colors in eyeshadow or blush?I like many different colors but i do tend to lean towards pastels and neon colors or sparkly colors!

i use mac eyeshadows, but only cause my sister works there and hooks me up wti hte discount... for my mascara i use lancome and then just maybelline or whatever powder and liquid..i dont think its as important and i break out easily... i have a pallet of mac eyeshadow and i know i'll be getting more for christmas and my birthday... i dont know that i could pay full price though... that stuff is expensive
