I have a moth problem

Recently, I've been seeing a bunch of moths in my kitchen! Not only that, I see the larvae crawling around the ceiling!!!!!!!!!!! It grosses me out and now I hate moths. We didn't have this problem last year. I looked up online on how to get rid of them. Cedar chips were suggested and I put some in random places. They stopped for awhile, but all of a sudden, they are back! Can you tell this is "bugging" me? I don't want to have to bomb the house, I have kids. Any suggestions?
