Wish I would have had grandchildren FIRST

How much easier raising children would have been if the grandchildren came BEFORE the children. They would have been great 'practice' before the actual all encompassing responsibility of child rearing. It is wonderful that I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to feed, change or help a sick child (although I would willingly), go for allergy shots, make trips to the orthodontist, worry about everything. Any thoughts?

If you had grandkids first you would never have kids!
I have 4 grndkids and it is so much more fun because i KNOW all the everyday things their parents have to worry about and all i have to do is be grandma (whom they love all the time) They can spend the weekend and go home.
