For me I only care about named brands when it comes to clothing mostly. I only wear hollister or abercrombie or other brands that are named brands. Also for food there may be only a few brands that I prefer otherwise any appliances or junk that I buy I dont care what brand it is as long as it works for me.

There are certain foods that have to be named brands. For example: cheese and mayonnaise have to be Kraft. For clothing, I tend to only buy Old Navy or brands from Goody's. For tennis shoes, they have to be New Balance or Nike. Everything else, I usually get the cheapest!

i'm not really brand conscious for clothes and shoes, as long as they're nice and fits me well then i'll go for it, branded or not. i am brand conscious about bags though; i wont buy any that's not a well known brand. and make up and skincare too- i will buy from an established brand name.

Anything I buy, it doesnt matter if it is name brand or not. with rising prices and falling income levels, you can not be choosy about what you get.
