What will you do if you received a physical punishment at school?

Yes, we all received a mass punishment. It was for shouting very loudly in the class. We were first given a beating in hand with a woodden scale and then were asked to stand on the bench with our hands held high till the end of the day. As it was not an individual punishment that I got, it didnot hurt me a lot at that time. Thinking about it now, makes me feel how silly we all were looking as ours was the first class near the stairs and all the other class students have to pass by our class and for almost a week they were giggling at us.
