Share experiences about predicting the future, ESP, precognition, etc....

Have you ever had an experience of knowing what was going to happen before it happened? Have you known something that there was no way for you to have known? What experiences have you had of precognition or predicting or knowing the future or of ESP?

I have never had precog experiences for major public events, however I do readings, and also get flashes all the time, my grandfather was the strongest in such gifts though has run in my family for generations.
I remember talking on the phone to a friend, and something in their life had changed, when I suddenly said, don't worry about it, you are going to have the baby by then, and so want to spend all tiem energy on the baby.
Well at this point it was beginning to look as if from a medical point of view her chances of having a child were very slim. I knew differently.
Well she had her daughter, as we got out of the car to celebrate her daughter's chirtening, I flashed again and said she would have two more children. well another year before she got pregnant with her son,
then I kept insisting that she would have another child when her son was 5, and she said no, she had a boy and a girl and that was enough, she also said that now that her youngest was old enough to go to school full time as he would be turning six at end of summer and starting first grade she was done. I insisted she was going to have another child, a few months later she was pregnant again.
Things like this have happened to me for years, not just pregnacies, but job changes, relationship changes, I once described in detail the place where a friend was going to move, two years later she had bought a condo, lived there about a month when she realized that the place was exactly as I described it, windows in the right place etc, she had forgotten about what I told her because it had taken a while to happen. That could of course been self fulfilling prophecy, however some of the others were not.
I have had dreams and visions at various times as well, and one of the most interesting when I was in my teens I saw a room, and people in it, people I did not know, I described it, from the perspective of me standing near the front window of the living room of a house.
My sister saw a place a room of a home people we didn't know she saw it from the door way leading to the dinning room,
She saw me across the room at the window, I saw her across the room at the dinning room entrance
2 months later we had gone to meet some distant cousins we didn't know for a family reunion in the house we both looked up at each other from across the room just as we had both seen 2 months prior.
I thought she was still in the yard at the time, and in fact didn't even realize it was the same house as the one in my "dream" until that moment. She had no idea I was in the house and didn't know it was the one from her "dream" until she saw the sun on me from the window.

It sounds like you and your sister have quite a gift...
A part of me, I'll admit, is a little tempted to ask what you see in store for me.
I am imagining that once people find out that you have such gifts they want to ask you a lot of questions...
I get intuitive flashes when I am with clients and sometimes find myself saying things without knowing why I am saying them that are exactly what my clients need to hear. When my clients react and say, "How did you know that?" I smile bcause, of course, the conscious mind had no real idea.
I was wondering, do you meditate?

Yes, I do meditate, though not as regularly as I should. I also find that listening to Carlos Nakai, a Native American flute player helps, with that, and his cd Canyon Trilogy when I meditate regularlly tends to induce visions. Something about the music is just on a higher level.
Yes people tend to ask all the time, as you know, since you work with clients, friends family etc, and sometimes I don't mind if something is there, though I tend to keep up some level of being shielded, since I tend to be empathic as well. For me I tend to have a variety of gifts none of which I am expert at, it is been in the family for generations. My sister and I had only the one experiece like that then she kind of shut down doesn't really use her intuition but it is understandable, as a child she knew when people were going to die. So I don't really blame her for shutting down.
I am more like my grandfather, I use intuition, insight, psychometry, Spirit Songs, cards, meditations, automatic writings, and then there are always those flashes, and dreams, I also rely on my guides and guardians, and angels for help,
Even though my grandfather's gift was so strong and accurate it was not really discussed, my mom's gifts were two, one causing her to shut down, the other she used til the day she passed, one was she saw ghosts. Freaked her out as a child. She didn't sleep much because of it. The other was she always knew people that could or couldn't be trusted, to the point that if we brought friends over and she said it as good to meet them they were always welcome then I knew they were ok, but if she politely said bye, and that was it, I knew that they likely were not that trust worthy. I never knew her to be wrong, and she didn't even know she tended to do that, until it was pointed out to her.
I had a friend, lol who began to make me feel like I was entertainment for friends. She would throw names at me of people I never meet, but I could pick up on the energy of the person, through the connection of the person saying the name and them having a connection to that person. I would describe their personalities, and sometimes things about them, that might happen etc, sometimes physical descriptions as well.
I agree if the message is needed to be shared it is going to come through, which is how like you said you would say things that while they didn't have meaning for you but it did for the person the message is for.
Sometimes they will pop out at the strangest times, I lol jokingly call them brain leaks, you know those times when you are with a group of people or friends and then you suddenly say something that is out of context for the conversation but is a message for one of those around.
you mentioned clients, do you card readings? Or do you use other methods? Do you find that those you know tend to ask for you to do the readings or if you get messages just because?
I have gotten to the point I now I to tell them that I will do what I can but I have to take care of the ones who paid first.
I have been the way I am all my life, we are a family of skeptical believers so we know this is real but we know there are those who play games instead of developing their skill,
For me I found that once I let go of being pleased with myself for what I could do, and appreciated it as the gift and let go of the ego aspect of it, I tended to grow kind of like psychic growth spurt.
So years of reading up on the subjects, and trying to meet others who could related so that I could share conversations on the various topics etc, have helped. I figure it is like all other aspects of life, an ongoing learning / growing process.

no but my hubby did about the shuttle when it blew up in what was it 86 or 85 he came home that day early then he saw it on tv and said he had seen it in a dream and something made him want to come home that day for he wasnt sure what the dream meant then he saw it and he knew that was what his dream was about!
