How did your husband propose to you? How did you propose to your wife? If you're not married... How do you imagine it?? I always thought about how I should do it... Still a bit early for me, but its better to start thinking!! :)

I ain't married or even engage to anyone at the moment. I'd say that it would depend on the woman on how a proposal would be the best. Then again, they won't mind being surprised and say, "This is even better than what I had imagined!" Well, if I really wanted it to be special, I'd try to find out what she really wants from close friends or relatives of hers and ask if she had either mentioned something as a best proposal for her. And if I think I could top that off, I might as well top it off.

I would also consider improving what she had imagined, I guess.. Women in love sure wouldn't mind pleasant surprises.

hehe, I see what you mean... Do you think if the way you propose does not reach her expectations it will affect what she will respond?

i'm not married, seeing as i'm only 18 lol. but i think that something super-thoughtful, and cute, that shows how much you love the person, is important. but i'd say avoid public proposals unless you're 1000000% they'll work! you don't wanna be rejected in public do you?! haha :S that would be awkward..

lol, true... But don't you think sometimes when someone tries too hard it becomes cheesy and kinda stupid?

yeh lol! but as long as you just say what you're thinking it's cool. i mean, any wedding proposal is gonna be quite cheesy isn't it? you're telling the other person you wanna spend the rest of your life with them...

I have never had a formal proposal and have been married a few times. I always dreamed of a romantic proposal. My soul mate and I were driving to my dads house one day and before I even knew what I was saying it popped out. "I am going to marry you some day." I was so embarrassed. He said "good I will hold you to it." That was our proposal. I didn't mean to say it and I didn't even know those words were going to come out of my mouth. I don't regret that it came out though because we did get married and I am finally living my happily ever after. Sorry I can't give you the perfect proposal but mine was perfect for us and I am sure that yours will be perfect for you both. Best of luck and happiness to you.

I may not have gotten a dream proposal but I did get my dream guy so its all good. Its not really about the proposal or the wedding it is about the love you have for eachother. The love is what makes it so special and what will make it last forever.

My husband did not say "I Love You" and all those lovable stuffs, he just said, i wud like to speak to you personally, i said yes and he just straight away asked me "Wud you like to marry me?", that was quite blunt, but i liked it and we got married six months later
